Founded in 1965 by Lester Poes, Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has proudly provided compassionate care and family-centered support for more than 59 years.
Conveniently located on the outskirts of Horseheads between Elmira and Corning, Elcor’s three modern, interconnected buildings offer a comfortable setting on a peaceful hillside just off Route 17 / I-86.
Elcor provides residents with a wide variety of amenities, activities, and personalized service s designed to enhance daily life. From religious services and salon services to thoughtfully prepared meals served in inviting dining rooms, every effort is made to support residents’ comfort, preferences, and well-being.
Residents also enjoy secure outdoor spaces, including courtyards, covered patios, and beautifully maintained gardens that encourage relaxation, social connection, and enjoyment of the outdoors.
